All about me :-). My name is Jamel Jenkins. I am graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor
of Science in Computer Science. I am a software engineer and web developer/designer; to make it simple
I write code. When it comes to developing software, I am always looking at the latest and newest
technologies to give the best user experience possible. Thinking outside of the box comes second
nature because to me there is no box. My job is to build web/mobile applications that are functional
and user-friendly but attractive at the same time. I have bee gifted to be well rounded with front-end
and back-end development giving the ability to create unique products. I enjoy spending time with
family, catching up with friends, listening to great music, developing new projects and ideas, playing

At Microsoft, I am the lead of a Internal authoring CMS along with the M365 In App Help. Continuing to innovate with Microsoft Copilot.
This internal CMS allows users to write and publish articles to multiple areas throughout the M365 Apps. This redesign was to help give authors what they need up front. Last edited articles, publish now, data queries, notifications from other peers, permission management and peer article reviews.
Due to security, I am not able to give access to this experience, but here are my UX designs.

group. The pastor can also communicate with his leaders and monitors their communication
with their small group. This website was built to have a mobile feel so it is also adjustable
to Desktop, tablet and Mobile.
At The Capitol we are dedicated to providing a place where students can connect with God, other
students and committed leaders that are dedicated to seeing students grow closer to God.
When we come together on Wednesdays we aim to give students an environment to worship God,
hear the Bible taught in creative, relevant ways, and provide community and discussion through
small groups. Our small groups are split up by grade so that students may better relate with
one another.

This is a wedding website that I created for my wedding to make it easy friends and family to
rsvp for our wedding.
Jamel and Michelle are going on their 5th year of being together this year in May. The number
5 stands for Redemption. God has taken away our pains and our scars from life and redeemed
us. They now understand that it was a blessing to have gone through the trails in those months
that they were separated. Their love for each other is far more than it ever before. 2014
will be their year to reap all that they have sown into their relationship. Through wisdom
and knowledge Michelle and Jamel will now plan their ministry. This will be a Kingdom Wedding
that will affect many it will honor Jesus who brought them together and kept them together.
They are spending a lot of time investing in their marriage before getting married in September
by taking the With This Ring class and reading other books and devotionals together. They
also have found accountability in many friends to help keep their relationship growing stronger
and stronger. Michelle is also a leader in Fusion and together are helping to build more
fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ.

"Salt" is a new up beat, bi-weekly talk show hosted by the dynamic team of Michelle Gomes-Jenkins,
Yeira De Leon, J.J. Jones, and L.A. Bonds, that is scheduled to debut Sunday, October 11,
2015 at 8:00 p.m. on YouTube. Led by four bold, diverse and outspoken hosts, each of these
women mirror their home audience without apology by saying what women really want to say.
Their fresh outlooks are brought to life through their outspoken conversations about topics
varying from their own personal lives to the news of the day to beauty, fashion and relationships.
These ladies share their life experiences, including motherhood, new marriages, dating or
singleness – each of them with life experiences that relate to every woman’s own trials and
tribulations. Without comparison to other talk shows, each of the four hosts admits they
are “still growing” and boldly invites the audience into their lives. Their honest points
of view, youthful energy, and passion will turn other talk shows on their head.
The mission of SALT is to create Christ-inspired entertainment through transparency, relevancy,
and availability. Moreover, SALT exists to provide an alternative perspective on life topics,
empower and encourage viewers, and ultimately impact change in our churches, communities,
and individual hearts. The Bible tells us to be the SALT and the light of the world (Matthew
5:13) and with full intentions that is what they hope to be.

THE BLOCK was established in June 2015, in an effort to address the transactional interactions
amongst African-American young professionals. After only entering the workforce a few years
ago, I have noticed the lack of community between Blacks in Corporate America.
In Corporate America, it appears that there is an unspoken reality that we have to be in competition
with one another. There is also a fear that says, “If I connect and build with my fellow
African-American colleague, it will somehow hinder or delay the success that I am after”.
My answer to that mentality is: there is room for us all. I believe that many opportunities
are missed because we fail to connect and truly foster healthy business relationships with
our fellow African-American colleagues.
As the founder of THE BLOCK, my mission is to create an atmosphere that aids African-American
young professionals in career development, personal growth, and authentic community. An environment
of authentic community welcomes the real you; without the guarded, uninviting masks that
we often wear when connecting with other African-American professionals.
